'Call the Doctor Now' launches itself in Mackay

The Mackay region has been selected to be the first region in Australia to access to Telehealth through CALL THE DOCTOR NOW. Launching on Monday 8th April, 2018 at 6am, 2108, CALL THE DOCTOR NOW spokesperson, Mr Lindsay Stewart stated, The region was selected because of the work completed by all sectors of the PHN, Government and local Business.

This service, which is a paid for service , $50 per Medical Consultation by APHRA (Med Aust) approved Doctors averaging 15 years of GP Experience. The much needed 24 hour/7 day a week service, which will cater for non-life threatening and Minor Aliments, can see patients telephone or video direct to the GP from rural and remote regions.  If needed the script will be sent directly to their pharmacy of choice for their collection.  If a medical certificate is needed, it will be sent directly to the patient.
